FAQ 2: ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

FAQ 2a: When does my account expire?
  • When you enter the Portal, along the top you have several navigation buttons. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle.
  • The Account Page will open.
  • In the white frame you will see your current Portal Name, and underneeth that, your Portal Membership Expiration Date.
    FAQ 2b: How do I cancel my account?
  • If you signed up for a TRIAL ACCOUNT then you don't need to Cancel. Your Trial Membership is Free. If you just don't sign up by the end of your trial period, your account is closed.
  • If you PAID for Your Portal Membership, please continue reading below for Cancelation Instructions: Paid Portal Membership Cancelations
    1. Log into the Portal. The Portal has features to help your account activities based on your Portal Identity.
    2. Go to this URL for the Cancellation Options Page: http://www.fiends.com/Portal/Account/Cancel.jsp
    3. You can always access the Cancellations Options from inside the Portal.
      1. Along the top of the Portal Pages you have several navigation buttons.
      2. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle.
      3. The Account Page will open.
      4. In the Yellow box, click option #5 for Payment or Cancellation
      5. On the Next Page, see the upper Link for "Cancellation Options"
  • Cancellation Options Page will give you the following information:
    1. There is no need to cancel if your account has expired or is still in the trial period.
    2. If your account status is [Playing] - read below for further instructions
    3. You may have used Paypal or Regnow to subscribe
    4. If you go to the Cancellations Options Page, you will be given which service you used with the next line of information from Fiends.com.
  • If you used Paypal to set up your Fiends.com account:
    1. logon to your Paypal account
    2. select 'History'
    3. show 'Subscriptions'
    4. You can cancel from there
  • If you used Regnow:
    regnow.com is a pay once only service, not a subscription.
    You do not need to cancel regnow accounts, they will just run out


  • If you used Regnow.com and you paid less than 45 days ago
    1. and you are unable to play Dragon Court II
    2. then you can request cancellation from Site Support
    3. Click on the link below to request cancellation contact site support
    4. NOTE: Please use these settings with your request:
      1. Message Type = 'Account Assistance'
      2. Brief Message = 'Cannot Play, Need To Cancel'
    5. if we see that you have not been able to play, then we will refund your money
  • Finally, if the options listed above for some reason do not cover your
    needs to cancel or resolve ACCOUNT issues then contact site support
    and give us all the details
  • FAQ 2c: How do I renew my portal account?
  • Renewing or adding time to your Portal Account is easy. Log into the Portal and then open this link to the Account Controls Page
  • You can always access the Payment Options Page from inside the Portal.
    1. Along the top of the Portal Pages you have several navigation buttons.
    2. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle.
    3. The Account Page will open.
    4. In the Yellow box, click option #5 for Payment or Cancellation.
  • To renew or add time to your existing, or expired Portal Account, you must use the same Email currently registered to that Account.
  • If you do not use the same email for the existing account identity, a new account will be created with the purchase instead of adding time to the pre-existing account identity.
  • To see your current registered Portal Email address, and to make changes to your Portal Email address.
    1. Along the top of the Portal Pages you have several navigation buttons.
    2. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle.
    3. Or, the First Page you see when entering the Portal has a Manilla Folder, "ACCOUNT CONTROLS" which takes you to the same place
    4. On the Account Page, in the Yellow box, click option 5> for Payment or Cancellation.
    FAQ 2d: How do I change my password?
    1. Log into the Portal.
    2. On the first page you have a manilla folder stamped "Account Controls"
    3. Or, along the top row of button links, see the "ACCOUNT" link
    4. You will get to the Account Page where you can use a Utility to change your Portal Password.
    5. This is a straight link to the ACCOUNT CONTROLS Page
    6. In the Yellow box, click option 2 > Change Password
    7. Note:Your new Password will be sent to your current registered Portal Email Address.
    8. If you want to double check what your email address is for the Portal, or make changes to your Email, please back up to step 5 and first choose 4 > "Change Email Address" Utility also in the ACCOUNT CONTROLS
    FAQ 2e: How do I change My Registered Portal Email?
    1. Log into the Portal.
    2. Along the top of the Portal Pages you have several navigation buttons.
    3. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle. (You can also navigate here through the "ACCOUNT CONTROLS" folder when you first enter the Portal)
    4. so you've found your way to the Portal Account Controls
    5. On the Account Page, in the Yellow box, click option 4> for Change EMail Address
    6. You do need to be logged into the Portal. If you aren't logged into the Portal, the page you will see won't have your current email information and the Portal won't receive the informaiton it needs from you in order to update your Portal EMail address.
    FAQ 2f: How can I change My Account Name?
    1. Log into the Portal.
    2. Along the top of the Portal Pages you have several navigation buttons.
    3. Click the "ACCOUNT" button which is just about in the middle. (You can also navigate here through the "REGISTRATION CONTROLS" folder when you first enter the Portal)
    4. You've found your way here: Portal Account Controls
    5. On the Account Controls Page, in the Yellow box, click option 3> for Change Account Name
    6. You do need to be logged into the Portal. If you aren't logged into the Portal, the page you will see won't have your current Identity information and the Portal won't receive the information it needs from you in order to update your Portal Identity Information.
    7. On the Change Account Name Utility, you should see your current name over the Utility, for instance, "Welcome Fred".
    8. Now fill in your new name, and your current password and, click "Request Name Change."
    9. Note: When you change the name for your account, you will lose your chatting and forum privileges until your name is approved by the administrator.
    FAQ 2g: I Renewed Membership. What Happened to My Old Account?
  • When renewing or adding time to your existing, or expired Portal Account you must use the same Email currently registered to that Account.

  • If this happened to your Portal Account, please use the Portal Support Form to conact Fiends.com Staff.

    2. Along the top row of button links, see the "ACCOUNT" link
    3. You will get to the Account Page
    4. choose "6> FAQs - Contact Support" in the ACCOUNT CONTROLS
    5. This is a straight link to the ACCOUNT CONTROLS Page
  • In your Contact Support message, please include this information for Fiends.com staff so that they we have everything to investigate and correct your account problem.
    1. Portal Identity that you wanted to renew
    2. date of your Portal renewal
    3. email that you used on your purchase
    4. the purchase order number
    5. whether you used Pay Pal or Reg Now for your Renewal.
